Your Privacy & Our Ethics
Therapy only works when you feel safe. Here is exactly how we protect your data and the professional standards that govern our practice.
Data Protection
GDPR-Compliant Practice
JanusJuno is based in Hamburg, Germany, and is fully subject to the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), one of the strongest data protection frameworks in the world. This applies regardless of where you are located.
Encrypted Sessions
All therapy sessions are conducted via Zoom using end-to-end encryption. Sessions are audio-only, adding an extra layer of privacy. No video is recorded or stored.
Minimal Data Collection
We only collect what is necessary to provide therapy: your contact details, scheduling information, and clinical notes kept in accordance with professional standards. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data in any way.

Under GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, use the contact form below.

Professional Ethics
BDP-Accredited Therapist
Tidal Grace is a member of the Bundesverband Deutscher Psychologinnen und Psychologen (BDP), Germany's professional association for psychologists. This accreditation requires verified qualifications, ongoing professional development, and adherence to a binding code of ethics.
Bound by Professional Ethics
All therapeutic work is governed by the BDP's ethical framework, which covers confidentiality, informed consent, professional boundaries, and the therapist's duty of care. These are not guidelines; they are binding obligations.
Cross-Border Accountability
Whether you are in the UK, UAE, Canada, or anywhere else, you receive the same standard of care and ethical protection as a client based in Germany. The therapeutic relationship is governed by the same professional and legal framework regardless of your location.
Transparent Practice
Fees, session structure, therapeutic approach, and the scope of practice are all discussed openly before therapy begins. You will receive a full informed consent document at intake. There are no hidden costs or surprise terms.
Data Protection Request
Use this form for any questions about your data or to exercise your GDPR rights. We respond within 5 working days.
